When I focus on a single detail for example a shoulder, a hand, a contour, a unique intimacy and emotional depth emerges. In these reduced monochrome watercolor works, I bring the essential form, the strength, and the vulnerability of the human body to the center. This is how deeply personal and timeless artworks are created for me.

I do not paint literal details such as scars, tattoos, or wrinkles; instead, I seek the universal essence, strength, and quiet vulnerability that lives within every body.
